bombs fell and the fallout killed most of what the flames missed. Then the nuclear winter came and we had to go underground.
That was a long time ago.
The survivor's have returned and we now find ourselves in the dawn of a new age. Man is no longer the dominant species. Years of radiation have spurred a new evolution of life on the planet. There is breath-taking beauty to be found but most of it is nightmarish. As if things were not bad enough, we know now that not all the old weapons went offline. Some of the machines are still fighting their war but no longer know who the enemy is. Humanity itself is divided, some work to rebuild what we lost. Other's have found alternate means survival.
